Dubai Metro service suspended at five stations due to ‘technical malfunction’


Dubai Metro services on the red line facing ongoing disruption today due to a ‘technical malfunction’.

Initially, the error affected services at the Sharaf DG station, in Al Barsha, but the issue has now spread to four more stations: Noor Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Internet City.




Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority said there is a bus service is available between the affected stations.

The issue first started at around 8.45am this morning.



The RTA said it was working to “restore the service at the earliest” to fix the issue.
