Initially, the error affected services at the Sharaf DG station, in Al Barsha, but the issue has now spread to four more stations: Noor Bank, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Internet City.
The issue first started at around 8.45am this morning.
The RTA said it was working to “restore the service at the earliest” to fix the issue.
