Emirates issued an advisory for passengers taking their flight on January 2.
“Roughly the same number of travellers will be arriving into Dubai from December 31 until just after New Year’s Day.
The busiest day in the first week of 2019 is expected on Wednesday, January 2,” the airline said on Monday.
With roadworks happening around the main airport highways and roads during this time, Emirates has urged customers to factor in extra time for their journeys to avoid potential delays.
