In a tweet published on Thursday, the UAE Goverment published a list of approved holidays, beginning with the Prophet’s Birthday on November 9.
In 2020, the Cabinet has approved a total of seven national holidays beginning with New Year on January 1.
Also approved are Eid Al Fitr, Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha although specific dates for these will be announced nearer the time.
Next year, the Prophet’s Birthday holiday will take place on October 29 while Commemoration Day will again be held on December 1, followed by National Day on December 2-3.
