Uber adds electric Teslas to its Dubai fleet
Uber has launched the first electric vehicles in its UAE fleet, adding to the growing momentum behind the country’s clean energy initiative.
The ride-hailing app has been announced as the exclusive partner for Dubai Taxi Corporation, and will now offer the 50 brand-new Tesla Model X electric vehicles as part of the UberONE.
It was recently announced that DTC would introduce a range of the brand-new fully electric smart cars, as part of Dubai’s push towards the Green Economy for Sustainable Development Initiative.
From Tuesday October 10, riders across Dubai will be able to choose from a dedicated fleet of electric vehicles through the Uber app, by selecting the UberONE option for your ride.
